When Do Applications for Unisa Semester 2 in 2023 Close?
The largest university in South Africa has just begun accepting enrollment applications from students interested in attending for semester two. It has been advised that prospective students submit their applications as soon as possible to meet the deadline.
A variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs are available to students in South Africa and other countries through the remote learning program offered by the University of South Africa (Unisa).
Students who are unable to attend conventional, campus-based institutions have a flexible and accessible choice with Unisa.
The institution opened Semester 2 applications for the 2023 academic year for selected Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctoral qualifications (some exceptions apply) opened from Monday, 17 April 2022.
All interested students are urged by Unisa to submit their applications prior to the deadline in order to avoid disappointment.
The application period will close on Friday, May 5, 2023.
Application Fees
A R125 application fee is due from each student who submits an online application.
Even if students choose not to enroll in Unisa’s programs, are denied entrance, or are unable to accept an offer of a place owing to a shortage of available spots, this cost is not refundable.
The institution does not take cash at any of its locations; consequently, all payments must be made through a bank deposit, debit card, credit card, Unisa web credit card payments, or electronic funds transfer (EFT).
Paying application fees:
- R125 for all online applications
- Students can visit www.unisa.ac.za/paymentinfo for banking details and payment information
- Use the student number you receive from Unisa AND the application fee reference number as payment reference
- Send the proof of payment to susdepid@unisa.ac.za
The application period’s deadline is also the day on which the application fee is due.
Any application that is submitted without a timely paid application fee will not be processed. In case the university asks for it, students are recommended to have a duplicate of their payment receipt on hand.
