Opportunities For Learners At Rand Water

For 25 eligible students, Rand Water has learnerships available in the sectors of horticulture and water and wastewater reticulation services.

Horticulture Learnership Programme : NQF Level 2 (12 months) x 10

Requirements

• Applicants must not be employed.
• Applicants must not be enrolled with any institution for a qualification nor be registered in any Learnership Programme.
• Applicants must not be in possession of a completed post-matric qualification.(NB: Failure to disclose post-matric qualifications will result in applicant being disqualified)
• Applicants in possession of a post-matric qualification must not apply and will not be considered.
• Applicants must have a Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy and Life Science (minimum of Level 4 in ALL subjects).
• Applicants must be a South African citizen and be in possession of a valid SA ID.
• Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age (in line with the NSDSIII).

Water and Wastewater Reticulation Services Learnership Programme :NQF Level 2 (12 months) x 15

• Applicants must not be employed.
• Applicants must not be enrolled with any institution for a qualification nor be registered in any Learnership Programme.
• Applicants must not be in possession of a completed post-matric qualification.(NB: Failure to disclose post-matric qualifications will result in applicant being disqualified)
• Applicants in possession of a post-matric qualification must not apply and will not be considered.
• Applicants must have a Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum of Level 4 in ALL subjects).
• Applicants must be a South African citizen and be in possession of a valid SA ID.
• Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age (in line with the NSDSIII).

Application procedures:

As a learner, it is expected that you will finish your qualification on schedule and in accordance with the terms of the contract agreement during the allotted time.
